Cookies and your device
We explain cookies and your browser choices below. For questions about cookies on this website, contact our support at [email protected]. Read this page alongside our Privacy Notice.
Cookies are small files saved on a computer, phone or similar device when a website is opened. They help a service recognise a browser and remember settings or earlier activity.
The operator's cookie arrangements
BV Gaming Limited, trading as Parimatch, describes its own cookie use in its Cookies Notice. The operator says it seeks consent for performance, functional, marketing and social media cookies. It distinguishes these from cookies strictly required to deliver the online service requested by the user, for which its notice says consent is not required.
| Category described by the operator | Purposes described in its notice |
|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Device recognition, fraud protection, service routing and internal monitoring |
| Performance | Distinguishing visitors and measuring visits and page activity |
| Functional | Understanding how customers use the service to help improve it |
| Marketing | Measuring advertising interactions and making adverts more relevant |
| Social media | Enabling advertising partners to recognise visitors for targeted advertising |
Cookie lifetimes and providers
The operator's notice distinguishes between two lifetimes:
- Session cookies last for a browsing session, usually ending when the browser closes.
- Persistent cookies remain between sessions until their expiry or until you remove them.
It also distinguishes cookies set by the website being visited from cookies set by another domain through content or services included on that website. The operator lists providers including Google Analytics, Microsoft and Quantum Metric. Those provider references concern the operator's service.
Managing cookies
Your browser's privacy settings usually let you inspect stored cookies, remove them and restrict future storage. The available controls depend on your browser and device.
- Review cookies stored for this website in your browser's site-data settings.
- Delete existing cookies if you want to remove stored preferences or identifiers.
- Review separate settings on each browser or device you use.
Removing cookies and preventing new ones are separate actions. Deleting a cookie does not by itself stop a website from setting it again on a later visit. Restricting cookies can also affect remembered settings or features that depend on them.
